Neutral density graduated Nano IV filter with 100 x 150 mm average transition – ND8 (0.9) – 3 stops – is a rectangular filter that helps darken specific areas for an image, the bright sky, allowing normal exposure in other areas of the image.
The filter is darker at the top and gradually gets lighter in the middle, with a smooth transition line between the light and dark areas.
A neutral density filter with a smooth transition line is particularly useful for images that feature trees, buildings, mountains, and other objects projected on the horizon.
NiSi GND filters do not affect image hues, provide true-to-life colors, and are made of high-quality optical glass (not resin) with Nano coating to prevent loss of detail.
By using a neutral density filter, the camera is vulnerable to infrared light, creating an unwanted red tint when taking photos with a small aperture.
NiSi GND filters have a protective infrared coating layer to eliminate infrared light that is projected through the lens.
The 100mm NiSi filter system is ideal for cameras with lenses that have a standard filter thread of 49mm to 95mm.
This 100mm x 150mm filter is compatible with the 100mm NiSi filter system.
