HOYA created this filter to give us a chance to show that feeling of warmth in our photo.
The filter is designed to create moderately sized beams of light from light sources while gently enhancing them, making them look like tiny sparks and creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere, just like the feeling inside us.

THE SPARKLE EFFECT
Conventional cross filters can appear with excessively long beams of light, cluttering and totally overloading the photos.
Instead of letting the crossover effect take control of your photo, HOYA SPARKLE aims to create a cheerful atmosphere subtly through the creation of moderately sized beams of light.
By doing so, the light sources themselves are also smoothly enhanced, creating a perfect balance between the strength of the light source and the length of the light beams.
HOYA SPARKLE IN ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY
The HOYA SPARKLE 6X is a filter that absolutely shines (literally) in night sky photography.
By taking the brightest starlight sources and converting them into 6-pointed stars, the SPARKLE series creates a simply beautiful and mesmerizing effect on your photos – creating a new standard for astrophotography.
CHOOSE YOUR PATTERN
The SPARKLE series consists of the SPARKLE 4X and the SPARKLE 6X, creating a pattern of four crosses and a pattern of six crosses, respectively.

SOFT EFFECT
In the absence of strong light sources in the composition, HOYA SPARKLE produces a soft effect on your image, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.
This is especially recommended for portrait, flower, and landscape photography.
You can further strengthen the smooth effect by increasing the focal length towards the telephoto end!
SWIVEL FRONT FRAME
By rotating the front frame, this filter gives you the opportunity to change the angle of the cross pattern.
This gives you the ability to always choose the perfect angle, further personalizing your photos!
