HOYA YA3 PRO Filter 58mm
Mainly used for black and white photography. XO is highly effective for outdoor portraits because red turns dark while green looks lighter.
Great for correcting skin tones, enhancing facial expressions in close-ups, and emphasizing the sense of vividness. X1 is highly effective for indoor portraits under tungsten lighting.
FOR COLOR FILM:
These filters, such as K2 (yellow), G (orange), 25A (red), X0 (yellow/green), and X1 (green) are designed primarily for use on black and white films. However, they can be used with color films to produce color special effects.
The Y2 Pro filter is especially useful for a clear contrast between the blue sky with clouds and the foreground. Provides a natural tonal representation. Often used for subjects at intermediate distances.
The YA3 Pro filter increases the contrast between reds and yellows. Particularly useful for distant exterior photos taken with a telephoto lens. It is also useful in color photography for spectacular sunsets, seascapes, etc.
R1 Pro filter especially effective for increasing contrast. Ideal for dramatic cloud effects in landscapes. It can also be creatively applied to color and infrared photography.
