Basic B+W 830 Infrared Filter. The B+W 093 infrared filter blocks the entire light spectrum. Therefore, it looks almost black and captures the pure IR range without visible red. Allows image results with extreme contrasts. Visible lights will be blocked almost completely up to 800 mm. The filter is dark red, With analog IR film or IR-sensitive digital cameras, it offers a fantastic wood effect (white sheets) and a typical dark sky. Exposure values vary according to the model of digital camera being used and are set through various examples through experiments. They are usually within a few seconds. Focusing is performed first without a filter using IR focus correction.

Basic filter ring
The basic tilt ring is durable and robust due to the brass mount with better grip due to optimized knurling. Easier mounting due to new lacquer technology. The basic filters can be used on most lenses up to 24 mm, size 24x36.
