The NiSi 77mm Cascade Circular Filter Kit features circular filters: the Enhanced CPL Ti Circular Polarizing Filter (titanium frame) and the NiSi HUC PRO Nano IR ND64 CPL Multi-Function Filter.
The kit is perfect for photographing waterfalls and includes a circular filter bag for easy storage of the filters in the kit.
CPL NiSi Ti Enhanced Circular Polarizer Filter (Titanium Frame) helps reduce reflections and glare by filtering out polarized light due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
Sunlight naturally becomes partially polarized due to the reflection of electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter in what appears to be haze.
A polarizing filter organizes and filters this directional polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light.
This results in a noticeable reduction in glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in sky and foliage saturation.
The NiSi Ti Enhanced CPL Circular Polarizing Filter (Titanium Frame) has improved colors compared to a standard CPL that increases the saturation of the scene when used.
NiSi HUC PRO Nano IR ND64 + CPL Multifunction Filter - When shooting long exposures, it is mandatory to add ND and a CPL, you can control the reflections as well as the shutter speed.
But with screw filters it's a pain, but it's much easier if you have a built-in CPL: no more stacking the CPL on top of the ND filters, don't add more glass in front of the lens, and get the most out of a filter.
