HOYA CIR-PL Polarizing Filter HD Nano 55mm
HD nano CIR-PL coatings have the advantage of being the toughest, scratch and stain resistant coatings available from any manufacturer. Over time, normal filter coatings can be easily damaged by repeated cleaning, wiping too hard or abrasive cleaning cloths. HD nano coating is 200% harder for longer longevity and greater protection.
The CIR-PL HD nano high-transparency polarizing film has 25% better light transmission than the standard polarizing film used in current photographic filters. This translates to almost half a turn to stop more light from entering the lens, producing the same polarizing effect while maintaining the color balance of a standard circular polarizer while improving contrast and clarity.
Polarizing filters filter out unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces, such as water and glass, as well as light that is reflected by moisture and pollution in the atmosphere, which is how they can create beautiful deep blue skies. You can see the effect happening before your eyes as you rotate the filter. In addition to bluer skies, the filter reduces reflections, produces greener foliage in the scenery, and better clarity and contrast in your photos.

The HD nano CIR-PL filter uses high transmission polarizing film, creates an image that can be clearly recognized by better contrast and clarity. This effect allows for fast shutter speeds. The filter will not affect the overall color balance of the photo.
