CANON LP-EL Battery for Flash Speedlite EL-1 and EL-5
The LP-EL is designed with high-performance flash photography in mind. It is capable of maintaining a high load and ensuring the large currents required for fast recycling and fast firing sequence for the Speedlite EL-1. It can be charged via the standard LC-E6/LC-E6E battery charger, which is supplied with many of our EOS cameras. The LP-EL also includes electronic circuitry that allows the Speedlite EL-1 and EL-5 to indicate exactly how much charge is left so you can recharge or replace the battery at the right time. During use, the LP-EL produces hundreds of full flash discharges on a single charge and has a lifespan of approximately 300 charge/discharge cycles.
