PANASONIC HC-X20E Camcorder
The HC-X20E is equipped with HLG*2 gamma mode and 13-step V-log for use in 4K HDR video production.
This camcorder also supports direct connection to Ethernet terminals and simultaneous SDI/HDMI output.
In addition, the HC-X20 camcorder is capable of live streaming in HD and supports a wide variety of transmission protocols.
Panasonic proposes the HC-X20 model as a camcorder for medium-scale news and streaming services, and the HC-X20 model as a camcorder for interviews and small-scale events.

OPTICAL PERFORMANCE FOR ACCURATE RECORDING
The built-in lens offers a powerful 20x optical zoom ranging from 24.5mm* wide-angle to 490mm* telephoto lens* i.ZOOM achieves 24x magnification at 4K and 32x at FHD.
Such a large zoom range in such a compact body is achieved thanks to the 4-lens drive system, in which each group is controlled independently.

HIGH-SPEED, PRECISION AF INCLUDING FACE-DETECTED AF/AE
Superior focusing speed, stability and tracking performance for 4K and Full-HD are achieved thanks to AF/AE face detection, along with the precise focus lens unit. In addition, color-aware person tracking can be activated with a simple touch on the LCD screen, allowing for precise tracking.
5-AXIS HYBRID OPTICAL IMAGE STABILIZATION FOR SHARP IMAGES
For UHD and FHD modes, in addition to OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), electronic image stabilization operates to detect and correct hand shake in 5 axes, including rotational motion.
HIGH SENSITIVITY 4K SENSOR
The 1.0-type (1.0-inch) MOS sensor is capable of recording in UHD (3840x2160) without cropping and offers a moderate depth of field.
In addition, it offers an excellent balance between image quality and sensitivity.
The file format can be selected from MOV (QuickTime), MP4, and AVCHD.
HIGH-QUALITY RECORDING WITH VERSATILE MODES
The new models support UHD internal recording up to 29.98p/25p and FHD up to 59.94p/50p in high quality 4:2:2 10-bit.
When configured for 10-bit recording, the camcorder offers a 4K 60p/50p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output, allowing you to capture high-quality images with an external recorder.
The new HEVC recording also supports UHD recording at a high bitrate of 200 Mbps, in addition to MOV, MP4, and AVCHD file formats.
HLG /V-log FOR HDR VIDEO PRODUCTION (HC-X20 MODEL ONLY)
HDR is an image display technology that provides a wider dynamic range than conventional SDR, offering more realistic images, especially in bright or dark areas.
The HC-X20 is equipped with HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) shooting mode, one of the HDR-related models.
In addition, it supports V-Log, also available on Panasonic's VARICAM cinema camera and LUMIX mirrorless cameras, providing 13 steps of latitude.
SUPER SLOW MOTION AND 4K VFR (FROM 2 TO 60/50FPS)
The Super Slow Motion function records HD images at a high speed of 120 fps (59.94 Hz)/100 fps (50 Hz) to show a slow-motion effect.
Both camcorders are equipped with a 4K (UHD) VFR (Variable Frame Rate) recording function, which allows you to change the frame rate from 2 to 60/50fps*.
In this way, the creator can use techniques such as shooting at more frames per second to achieve "overcranking" slow motion, or achieving fast motion by shooting at fewer frames per second "undercranking".

VERSATILE NETWORK FUNCTIONS
With built-in Wi-Fi and the use of an HC ROP app, you can set up wireless remote control, including camera setup and lens control.
The HC-X20 is equipped with Ethernet for more stable live streaming, and the HC-X20 can also connect to a LAN by cable using a USB Ethernet adapter (sold separately).
RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS-compatible FHD streaming allows you to connect directly and live stream to different platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, etc.
FUNCTIONS AND DESIGNS THAT SUPPORT WORK
The 3.5-inch LCD screen has a high resolution of approximately 2,760k-dots, more than double that of the previous model*1, and achieves excellent visibility even in bright sunlight, with twice the brightness compared to the previous model*1.
Because the 2,360k-dot tilting viewfinder and LCD screen simultaneously output the image being recorded, it can also be projected onto the LCD screen while viewing in the EVF, which improves work efficiency.
In addition, to facilitate fast and accurate manual focusing, focus assist functions such as Expand, Peaking and Area Mode have been incorporated.
For even darker conditions, commercially available IR lights*2 support infrared shooting.
The lens barrel has 3 manual rings for zooming, focusing, and iris operations. There are a total of 14 user buttons, 9 on the body and 5 on the LCD touchscreen.
The ND filter can be set to Clear, 1/4, 1/16, or 1/64. A gain selector and an AWB selector are also provided.
The included battery, built into the camera, provides approximately 3 hours 50 minutes (HC-X2) / 4 hours and 25 minutes (HC-X20) of continuous shooting.

DUAL SD CARD SLOT AND DUAL UHD/FHD CODEC RECORDING
2 SD memory card slots are provided.
The recording media switches automatically and seamlessly from slot 1 to slot 2.
- Unlimited relay recording*1: Data is recorded continuously, automatically switching the recording SD card from slot 1 to slot 2.
- Simultaneous recording: Identical data is recorded on the cards of both slots.
- Background recording: You can adjust an SD card in slot 2 to record continuously, and you can adjust another SD card in slot 1 to record the necessary scenes by turning the REC on and off.
- Dual Codec Recording*2 (HC-X2 only): Simultaneously record images in 2 different formats, such as primary (UHD/FHD) and secondary (FHD), etc.
*1 The maximum file size that can be recorded to multiple SD cards is 96 GB. Writing will not stop even if the data size exceeds 96 GB.

48KHZ/24BIT HIGH-RESOLUTION LINEAR PCM AUDIO RECORDING
The selectable XLR audio input with manual volume is equipped for each of the 2 channels.
It is also compatible with 24-bit linear PCM (MOV), 16-bit AAC (MP4) or Dolby Audio (AVCHD) high-quality 2-channel audio recording system.
