Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with EOS iTR AF X
Enjoy the fastest, most up-to-date autofocus technology. Extremely accurate and fast face, eye, head, body and animal detection common to the entire sensor. Get full control with unique face recognition and customisable settings to ensure you never lose focus.
Compact, ergonomic and familiar design
A familiar, refreshed design delivers improved ergonomics and connectivity, and features an updated joystick and multifunction shoe. Use the top grip or create your own, with the flexibility to shoot your way in difficult conditions.
Professional recording formats and high frame rates
Including 12-bit Cinema RAW Light LT up to 6K at 30P and 4:2:2 10-bit up to 4K at 120P. Oversampled 4K is available via enhanced XF-AVC and XF-AVC S/XF-HEVC S (MP4) formats, including detailed metadata and filename structures. HDMI RAW output to compatible external recorders.

Enjoy innovative prime focus, zoom and cinema lenses, and get unrivalled optical performance, real-time lens metadata and highly responsive AF/IS systems. Easily use your PL and EF lenses with a Canon mount adapter.
Unrivalled connectivity
Professional in-body I/O includes 12G-SDI, HDMI, 2x mini-XLR, microphone input, remote control and time coding. Built-in Wi-Fi/Ethernet enables real-time IP transmission (SRT/RTSP) and remote control via the XC Protocol and the multi-camera control app. Expandable with Canon's multifunction shoe.

Real-time objective metadata output and capture for VP and VFX with support for Unreal Engine and After Effects, including distortion correction data. Create immersive VR experiences too with the Canon RF 5.2mm F2.8L Dual Fisheye lens.
