Shooting Controlsat Your Fingertips

The top front of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera includes record/stop buttons and frame button alongside dedicated controls for iris, ISO, white balance and shutter speed. The main power switch is located at the top along with a row of three customizable function buttons.

High Resolution Digital CinematographicSensor!
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K includes a sensor with a native resolution of 4096 x 2160, while the 6K models have a native resolution of 6144 x 3456. When you're shooting in bright sunlight or almost no light, the 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO up to 25,600 deliver stunning low-noise images in all lighting conditions. In addition, the larger Super 35 sensor of the 6K models offers shallow depth-of-field recording and anamorphic lenses. All models allow you to record at up to 60 fps at full resolution or 120 fps in windowed mode. With an amazing sensor and  Blackmagic color science, you get the same imaging technology as more expensive digital film cameras.

Built-in ND Filters
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro includes high quality motorized ND filters that make it possible to quickly reduce the amount of light entering the camera. The 2-, 4 - and 6-stop filters have been specially developed to match the camera's colorimetry and  color science, giving you additional latitude even under harsh lighting conditions. IR filters are designed to uniformly filter out both optical and IR wavelengths to eliminate infrared contamination in images. The activation buttons are located on the back of the camera body, positioned within reach of your thumb via the multi-function hand grip. User-selectable filter settings can be displayed as an ND value, a stop reduction, or fraction on the LCD.

Record Incredible Images with High Dynamic Range (HDR)
The distance between the lightest and darkest parts of an image is called the dynamic range and measured in stops.  Blackmagic Pocket Cinema cameras have an incredible 13 stops of dynamic range, which means they preserve more detail in the brightest and darkest areas of an image than regular camcorders. That means you can set the exposure for an indoor scene and keep the details of the bright light outside coming through a window. Plus, you get even more color than the standard DCI-P3 color space used in feature films.  DaVinci Resolve Studio is included with the camera, so you have total creative freedom with exposure adjustments and full color grading recovery controls.
