FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR THE NEW AUTO-TRACKING AND AUTO-CYCLE APPLICATIONS
The Canon CR-N700 now supports two apps for Auto Tracking and Auto Cycling. This firmware update is required to install the new app features. Both apps are available from your local retailer for an additional charge.

The 1.0-type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor deliver 4K UHD 60P up to 4:2:2 10-bit 12G-SDI and HDMI images for a standard broadcast image quality and 4K60P over IP.

Intelligent automatic cycle
Schedule repeated camera pan, tilt and zoom movements to track repeated actions in real time, consistently and accurately, thanks to Canon's advanced drive mechanism. Experience the flexibility of programming movements with the ability to initialise a forward and backward cycle, meaning no camera operator is required. Five automatic movement routes can be recorded and are easy to create or customize thanks to an easy-to-configure UI.

Multiple protocols for seamless integration
CR-N700 includes SRT and NDI|HX1 which enables broadcasters to produce high-quality video broadcasts. RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP, Canon XC and the standard communication protocol are included, as well as FreeD for integration into virtual productions.
Powerful HDR images and low-light shooting
Get stunning HDR images with live recording in PQ or HLG formats. The range of custom image settings includes Canon Log 3 and wide dynamic range so your image matches those of other Canon cameras.
Crop function – single camera, two video feeds
Select and extract a point of interest from a separate feed. The chosen area can then be output as a primary or secondary signal and up to two FHD-cut areas can be defined.
Night Mode
Capture footage in near-total darkness thanks to IR mode, which increases the visible spectrum for the camera.
Comprehensive connectivity
Get a flexible connection with 12G-SDI, HDMI or IP (PoE++), all with 4K60P support, as well as professional Dual XLR audio inputs. The CR-N700 also includes 3G-SDI and GEN-LOCK.
Precise and smooth control
The CR-N700 is equipped with a high-precision drive mechanism for precise rotation and tilt movements slow at 0.1°/s. Compatible with RC-IP100 controllers and the Camera Remote Control App, it can also be configured with certain third-party units.
