The most important feature of the Sigma BF is its simplicity. We wanted to create the easiest camera to use, inspired by the humble beginnings of the camera obscura. While the lens remains the soul of photography, the camera still profoundly shapes the images it takes – directly, indirectly, even subconsciously. Without compromising on features or performance, BF's design eliminates anything that distracts from your interaction with the picture. From its unique aluminium body to its streamlined controls and optimised menu, the BF embodies a pure photographic experience, free from frustration.

Flawless interaction
The Sigma BF represents a new, more intuitive way to use a camera. It's simplified to make the act of shooting as easy as possible. We've replaced the shooting mode dial — a holdover from the days of film photography — with direct access to the five elements that decide the shot. Shutter speed, aperture, ISO, EV compensation, and color mode are all immediately available at the touch of a finger. The new Status Monitor displays the currently active setting, so the screen gives you a clear view of your subject.

Clear vision
The BF's high-resolution display provides a distraction-free view of all the information you need – and nothing more. With a simple setting, it shows only the live view image, with the five main elements – shutter speed, aperture, ISO, EV compensation and colour mode – displayed when you're ready to press the centre button. All other options and settings are accessed through just three simple menu screens.

Easy control
With just three buttons and a dial pad, BF's redesigned user interface makes adjustments instant and intuitive, leaving your focus on the scene rather than the settings. As the first mirrorless camera, the BF features pressure-sensitive haptic buttons, resulting in minimal physical wear and tear, but still offering the precise and tactile feel of conventional mechanical buttons.

Durable form factor
BF is built to last. It is the first camera in history to feature a true single body, with each chamber carved from a single solid block of aluminum ingot over the course of seven hours. The weight of its all-metal, seamless body harmonizes perfectly with any attached lens, while its shape, button placement and precisely-cut front texture ensure safe handling.

Simplicity does not mean limitation. Sigma BF is equipped with advanced technology to expand your creative possibilities. Its powerful full-frame sensor delivers exceptional image quality, while the fast and reliable hybrid autofocus system keeps subjects in focus.

High-resolution video
Some stories are best told in moving images. With 6k recording, powerful HEVC encoding, L-Log support and up to 120 frames per second, the Sigma BF provides filmmakers with an agile and versatile camera to capture and refine their vision.

Full-frame sensor
BF's 35mm full-frame sensor means stunning detail, exceptional image quality, wide dynamic range and brilliant low-light performance. The large sensor size also means a shallower depth of field to separate the subject and background, and allows for the use of high-quality full-frame lenses.

Internal Storage
The SD card slot is replaced with 230GB of internal memory, capable of storing more than 14,000 JPEG files, 4,300 RAW images with lossless compression, or 2.5 hours of video at the highest quality setting, with the USB-C port offering fast charging and data transfer speeds.
