Lens construction
With one aspherical lens element and four ED elements, the Lumix S 28-200mm f/4-7.1 is built to maintain image quality and prevent optical aberrations. A circular 9-blade diaphragm creates round, flattering bokeh. The front element of the lens has a fluorine coating that helps prevent oil- and water-based substances from sticking to it. Two switches are present on the lens barrel, allowing you to make quick adjustments while shooting. One option is to switch between AF and MF, and the other is to disable the lens's image stabilization.
