• The 5-axis Hybrid IS is an optimized image stabilization system that works in conjunction with OIS, to reduce camera shake for smoother videos and sharper images, while walking or in low light conditions
• With support for vertical video recording, especially useful for content to be viewed on smartphone
• Dedicated selfie mode can be set to start when the screen is rotated and will automatically highlight the main subject, optimising depth of field, using face detection AF and AE settings, and automatically setting the sound pickup range area depending on where the subject is
• The rear 3.0" 1.84m-dot LCD features a static touchscreen design for intuitive and responsive use, and features a free-angle design that benefits working at high, low, and front angles (selfie)

20.3MP Live MOS Digital Sensor and Venus Engine

• 20.3MP Micro Four Thirds MOS sensor, no low-pass filter optimized for high-speed and resolution images
• Venus Engine processor to create crisp, detailed photos and 4K UHD video; this setting maximizes resolution while keeping noise to a minimum, allowing the use of sensitivities up to ISO 25600

UHD 4K video recording

• It can record UHD 4K at up to 30p, with 8-bit colour depth and 4:2:0 sampling during internal recording, along with Full HD at up to 60p
• External Full HD recording is supported via micro-HDMI with 4:2:2 sampling and 8-bit color depth
• V-Log L has been pre-installed and is used to capture a flat, neutral curve, suitable for gradation in conjunction with a LUT for greater control over colours
• 4x and 2x slow motion and 8x, 4x, and 2x fast motion configurations can be used with Full HD recording, and timelapse and stop motion configurations, also available
• A 3.5mm microphone input is available for better external audio capture

Body design and wireless connectivity

• The new high-resolution OLED Live View Finder has about 2.36 m dots and 0.74x magnification for a clear and bright composition at eye level
• The 3" rear touchscreen with 1.84 m dots has a free-angle, tilt and swivel design to support viewing from a variety of angles and allows for intuitive menu navigation and settings
• The DMW-BLG10PP lithium-ion battery, which can be charged in the camera via USB-C, holds about 270 shots per charge with the rear LCD, 250 shots with LVF, or 900 shots when working in LVF Power Save mode
• It features a dedicated button on the top plate to send images via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, allowing wireless image sharing or remote control of the camera from linked smartphones and tablets

4K Photography
A trio of shooting modes are available to record continuous 8MP photos at a 30fps shooting rate:

• Burst: Continuous recording ideal for when you need a fast frame rate to capture the best moment
• Pre-Burst: ideal for times when you're not sure of the critical moment to press the shutter button, records images one second before and one second after pressing the shutter button, giving you 60 frames to choose from
• Burst (S/S): follows the video recording process more closely and allows you to play your video, pause at the chosen moment and use the shutter button to mark a chosen frame of the video and save it 

Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Lens

• 24-64mm equivalent slim zoom with a retractable design, aspherical three-element optical design, and an extra-low dispersion element, to correct spherical and chromatic aberrations, giving sharpness and clarity throughout the zoom range
• AF motor and internal focus design for fast and quiet focusing performances, suitable for film and stills applications, and MEGA OIS helps ensure sharp handheld shots by compensating for the effects of camera shake

Lumix G Vario 35-100mm f/4-5.6 ASPH Lens
