FUJIFILM X-T50 - Body (Graphite)
FUJIFILM X-T50 - Body (Graphite)
Classic Design
The FUJIFILM X-T50 inherits the XT Series design that suggests the great resemblance to a classic film camera. The compact body weighs only 438g. Combined with the sleek design and ergonomic style, it's an amazing experience to use it wherever your creative journey takes you.
Rounded body shape
The FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a new rounded body shape. Although slightly larger than the predecessor model X-T30 II, the styling makes it look small without compromising on handling. The thumb grip extends smoothly outwards, compared to previous models, providing an impressive overall feel and grip on the body.
Film Simulation Dial
The FUJIFILM X-T50 features the new film simulation dial on the top plate. Choosing Movie Simulation has never been easier. It's as simple as turning the dial. There are 20 movie simulation modes to choose from, including the latest "REALA ACE".
Dial Operation
The FUJIFILM X-T50 houses shutter speed, exposure compensation, and all-new film simulation dials on the top plate. Together with the aperture ring of most XF lenses, the settings can be checked and adjusted, even without turning on the camera, allowing you to focus on what's most important: creating the perfect image.
Viewfinder
The FUJIFILM X-T50 features a 2.36-million-dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a magnification ratio of 0.62x. Specially designed lens elements provide a high-definition live view and include an adjustable diopter control to provide a truly comfortable experience.
LCD tilt
The FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a tilting LCD, which offers greater versatility, especially when working at waist height. The combination of tilting LCD and center viewfinder aligns the lens, camera, and photographer on the optical axis, for a more comfortable and intuitive imaging experience.
Cutting-edge image quality
The FUJIFILM X-T50's fifth-generation X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, X-Processor 5 image engine, and up to 7.0-stop in-body image stabilization (IBIS) combine to deliver the highest image quality yet for the X Series in a small, lightweight body.
High-resolution 40.2MP BSI image sensor
The high-resolution 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor has an improved image processing algorithm that increases resolution without compromising signal-to-noise ratio, delivering astonishing image quality.
IBIS of 7.0 stops
A five-axis body image stabilization (IBIS) system provides up to 7.0 stops of compensation. Despite this, the camera body weighs only 438g including battery and memory card.
Subject detection autofocus
The FUJIFILM X-T50 uses X-Processor 5 Subject Detection AF to accurately track a variety of subjects. Built on deep learning AI technology, it detects animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects, and drones.
Updated AF algorithm
The FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates an impressive autofocus prediction algorithm for reliable focus even when shooting continuously moving subjects. The autofocus improvements are most noticeable in Zone AF and low-contrast situations.
ISO 125 Standard Sensitivity
The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor in the FUJIFILM X-T50 has a pixel structure with higher light efficiency. An ISO 125 setting, which on the previous model, FUJIFILM X-T30 II, was only an extended sensitivity option, is now available natively on the FUJIFILM X-T50.
S/N Level / Power in Low Light
The high-resolution 40.2 MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor has an improved image processing algorithm that increases resolution without compromising the signal-to-noise ratio. Astonishing image quality is in the palm of your hand.
Expanding your creativity
Add extra options to your image-making journey by combining the FUJIFILM X-T50's unique film simulation modes with other creative features. Use analog effects such as film grain, or increase color depth, clarity, or sharpness to elevate your images, and take full control of highlight and shadow tones to dramatically expand your creative palette. A truly personalized photography adventure awaits.
Film Simulation
The 20 film simulation modes offered by the FUJIFILM X-T50, including the new REALA ACE mode, take advantage of 90 years of Fujifilm color science, digitally replicating the look and feel of classic photographic film. Reproduce the classic colors and tones that Fujifilm is known for, or add an artistic touch to your photography journey.
White Balance
Fine adjustments can be made in Auto White Balance (AWB) by selecting one of three modes: Auto, White Priority, and Ambient Priority. Set to White Priority, white is most likely to reproduce as white under incandescent lighting. However, when Ambient Priority is set, scenes will be shot with the scene's natural lighting characteristics preserved. Under incandescent lighting, this will often result in images with warmer white tones.
Multiple exposure
Layer up to nine images in Additive, Medium, Bright Comparative or Dark Comparative modes to combine multiple perspectives or different points in time. Various settings, including film simulations, can be applied to each exposure to produce a unique creative expression, entirely in-camera.
Auto mode
In AUTO mode, the camera automatically recognizes and sets the optimal exposure settings for any given scene. It also features automatic subject detection, where the camera automatically detects and tracks the subject, keeping it in focus. This eliminates the need to manually adjust subject detection settings to make imaging easier. AUTO mode can also be used for video.
Video Functionality
The FUJIFILM X-T50 delivers advanced video performance in a compact, lightweight body. Create movies up to 6.2K internally at 30p in 4:2:2 10-bit color. High-speed 4K/60p and 1080/240p are also available, maximizing video flexibility.
Improved subject tracking
Follow subjects in your videos with ease. Select AF-C mode with Wide/Tracking AF, then simply touch the subject on the rear LCD. The FUJIFILM X-T50 will track the subject, even in situations where multiple subjects appear in the frame.
F-Log2 Support
In addition to F-Log, the FUJIFILM X-T50 also supports F-Log2, which records an expanded dynamic range of more than 13 stops. This range is wider than the current F-Log, expanding the potential for post-production.
