A new 5-axis in-body image stabilization system, made possible by the X-Processor 5 and a detection control function, provides up to seven stops of compensation.

5.76 MILLION DOT HIGH-RESOLUTION ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER
The high-resolution electronic viewfinder has a magnification of 0.8x and uses 5.76 million dots for incredible detail.
A refresh rate of approx. 120 fps suppresses the blur and image distortion normally caused by looking through the viewfinder at extreme angles, making it easier to track moving subjects more accurately.

WEATHER-RESISTANT BODY FOR USE IN ALL CONDITIONS
With 79 weatherproof points that offer high levels of dust and moisture resistance, the X-H2S is built to withstand the rigors of daily professional use and operate normally in temperatures as low as -10°C.

SHUTTER DURABILITY
The shutter's durability has been further improved, supporting 500,000 actuations in internal testing.

ERGONOMIC EXCELLENCE!

Upgraded Grip: The X-H2S improves on the X-H1's beloved grip to provide a more secure feel. This is especially useful when using longer or large-aperture lenses.

Shutter release with feather touch: The feel of the shutter button has been adjusted to make it more intuitive when half-pressed, helping users release the shutter at the right time.

Supports CFexpress™ Type B card: The X-H2S has a CFexpress™ Type B memory card slot and a UHS-II SD memory card slot. Harness the full potential of the X-H2S's blazingly fast burst mode and its professional video performance with CFexpress™ Type B cards.

Enhanced video functions: Video operation just got easier, thanks to the stand-alone video recording button and 1.62-million-dot vari-angle LCD monitor, which can be fully rotated – even when HDMI and microphone cables are connected. Port is also provided for the first time in an X Series camera.

Increased connectivity: The X-H2S can be connected directly to a PC for webcam use and 4K live streaming, without the need for FUJIFILM X Webcam software. It can also be combined with the optional FT-XH File Transmitter to support FTP transfer and tethering capabilities via wired and wireless internet connections, or USB-connected smartphones.

A new 26.1-megapixel image sensor combines our existing backlighting technology with a stacked, layered structure that quadruples read speeds for faster image processing capabilities.

HIGH-SPEED CONTINUOUS SHOOTING UP TO 40 FRAMES PER SECOND!
The X-Trans CMOS 5 HS is capable of blackout-free bursts of up to 40 frames per second.
In burst mode, the sensor's phase-detection pixels are controlled independently of the image display.
This triples the number of possible calculations, allowing you to focus at incredibly high speeds between individual frames with accuracy and precision.

IMPROVED AUTOFOCUS FOR BETTER TRACKING IN ALMOST ANY SITUATION
An improved AF prediction algorithm along with the X-Trans CMOS 5 HS and X-Processor 5 provide a major boost to subject tracking and autofocus accuracy on moving subjects, particularly in Zone AF and low-contrast conditions.

SUBJECT DETECTION AUTOFOCUS
The X-Processor 5 features Deep Learning-based Subject Detection AF that automatically detects and tracks a wider range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, and trains - as well as human faces and eyes. image-makers can focus on composition and creativity, confident that the X-H2S will track focus accurately.

IMAGE SUPPORT IN HEIF
The HEIF image format delivers 10-bit image quality in files up to 30% smaller than standard JPEG files, continuing to expand Fujifilm's reputation for delivering high-quality images straight from the camera.

OPEN GATE 6.2K/30P 4:2:2 10 BIT
Open Gate 6.2K movies can be recorded internally in 30P in 10-bit 4:2:2 color.
The X-H2S's 26.1MP stacked BSI CMOS sensor has an incredible readout speed of up to 1/180 sec*, which precisely controls the effects of the rolling shutter, resulting in more natural-looking motion when shooting video. 

HIGH-SPEED VIDEO RECORDING
The X-H2S also supports 4K/120P high-speed video.
Now, fast-moving subjects can be recorded in incredible detail for high-quality slow-motion footage.

UP TO 240 MINUTES OF CONTINUOUS RECORDING
The camera features a new heat dissipation structure, increasing video recording time by up to 240 minutes of 4K/60P video.
When recording video at 25°C from a cold start, with the auto-off temperature set to "High", bitrate of 100Mbps, a VG-XH vertical battery holder connected, and using three batteries.
The duration of the recording depends on the remaining battery power and the type and capacity of the memory card used.
When the main unit heats up, the footage can be automatically terminated.

OPTIONAL COOLING FAN ACCESSORY
Connect the optional cooling fan (FAN-001) to the X-H2S to extend video recording capabilities at high temperatures.

RAW OUTPUT VIA HDMI
When combined with an ATOMOS HDMI device, the X-H2S's RAW video output can be recorded as 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW at frame sizes up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps.
And when combined with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12Gs, the camera's RAW video output can be recorded as Blackmagic RAW at frame sizes up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps.

REMOTE RECORDING FUNCTION
Add the optional FT-XH* File Transmitter to support Remote Rec over wired LAN/wireless LAN.
This new feature allows up to four X-H2S cameras to be simulated controlled from a browser.
