The EOS R6 Mark II's in-body Image Stabilizer works hand-in-hand with optical IS on many Canon lenses. The result is up to 8 stops2 of protection against camera shake when shooting handheld.
Take long exposure shots handheld, intentionally blurring moving subjects while keeping everything else sharp – everything else without using a tripod.

The EOS R6 Mark II's IS recognises more types of camera movement than other cameras. When recording video, the IBIS and optical IS systems are joined by Movie Digital IS for images that look like they were professionally shot with a gimbal.

Pioneering Cinema Resources - False Color Warning
Another technology shared with Canon's Cinema EOS family, the EOS R6 Mark II's false colour warnings provide an easy-to-see indication of current exposure levels. Six colours, each representing a different luminescence level, are superimposed on the display and screen images.
6K ProRes RAW
For the ultimate in flexibility and image quality, record 6K ProRes RAW video using an external ATOMOS V+ recorder. The footage is easier to classify and has a more dynamic range. The extra resolution allows you to crop while maintaining 4K quality.

The EOS R6 Mark II's 24.2-megapixel sensor offers an ideal balance between speed, image quality and low-light performance. The ability to focus in conditions as dark as -6.5EV 1 (less than the light of a half-moon) is complemented by a maximum ISO sensitivity of 102,400 and an Image Stabilizer that is effective up to 8 stops.
