The EOS R10 can recognise people, vehicles and animals such as cats, dogs and birds, and follow them as they move anywhere in the frame8.
Even fast-moving subjects are displayed in stunning clarity.
When photographing people, the EOS R10 prioritises the subject's eyes – the 'window to the soul'. If these are not visible, then the face is tracked.
And if your motive turns around for a moment, it follows the head, and then the body.
More speed

The EOS R10 can capture bursts of continuous shooting of RAW, JPEG or HEIF images at up to 15 frames1 per second (or 23fps5 using the camera's electronic shutter).
All while the camera tracks the subject across the frame, continuously adjusting focus and exposure in response to the changing scene.
Capture instant moments
In RAW fast-shooting mode, photos can be captured at up to 30fps with 75% cropping, with images saved in a single video file for simple and easy organisation.
Individual images can then be extracted, processed and edited with our free Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software.
When the pre-shooting function is activated in the camera menu, the EOS R10 captures 0.5 seconds of action before the shutter-release button is pressed, so you'll always capture that perfect magical moment.

A 24.2-megapixel sensor gives you the ideal balance of detail, speed and low-light performance.
The maximum sensitivity of ISO 32000 (extendable to ISO 51200) allows you to achieve more detail and less noise when shooting in the dark.
It also includes a built-in flash, which gives you a little more light when you need it.
4K that defies expectations
OS R10 captures stunning 4K video footage that looks great on UHD displays and lets you crop without loss of quality during editing for Full HD projects.
Filmmakers can choose between 4K/60p3 for extremely smooth playback of moving subjects and slow-motion effects, or 4K/30p with extraordinary oversampling created from the 6K output of the camera's 24.2-megapixel sensor.
With these results, seeing is believing.

When shooting in Full HD mode, frame rates of up to 120fps can be used, revealing even more subtlety in the movement of subjects.10 And for slow-motion scenes, the ability to create stunning 4K and Full HD time-lapse movies in-camera adds even more to your creative arsenal.

Built-in Bluetooth Low Energy keeps a connection always available, allowing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to be easily activated when images need to be transferred.
You can also control the camera remotely from your smart device with Canon's Camera Connect app: display the actual image, change settings, and capture photos and videos.
For easier remote operation, the BR-E1 wireless Bluetooth remote control is also available.
The EOS R10 also features USB-C for in-camera charging and remote shooting via PC/Mac computers.
