Dedicated to the Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera, plus the added bonus of being able to use up to two LP-E6P batteries, the CF-R20EP grip has a multi-speed fan to keep the camera cool in challenging situations such as video recording and extend capture times by up to more than 120 minutes of 8K 30p movie recording.
From the camera menu, the fan can be set to be off, always on, or on only in standby mode. Three speed levels can be selected.
The grip also has a high-speed 2.5G Base-T Ethernet port for fast wired shooting, FTP transfer, remote shooting via EOS Utility and other operations. The ethernet connection allows you to quickly transmit a large number of photos and videos from event venues to editorial offices via a stable wired connection, especially when operating in Dual Shooting mode.
The grip design accommodates two LP-E6P batteries to effectively double battery life. In addition, the extended grip design facilitates a more stable grip and has the same weather-resistant construction as the camera body for use in wet or dusty conditions.
