SONY ECM-W3 Wireless Microphone

Record two interviews and vlogs with your Sony Multi Interface compatible camera using this SONY ECM-W3 2-person wireless microphone system, thanks to its two clip-on transmitters with integrated microphones and dual-channel receiver with Multi Interface Shoe connection. The system supports the recording of analog and digital audio signals on mixed or separate channels for maximum post-production flexibility. The receiver is ultra-compact and features Built-in 3.5mm TRS and USB-C output ports. Two side switches allow you to select recording from separate or mixed channels and switch between analog and digital output modes. Toggle safety tracking recording to protect against unforeseen interruptions. An attenuator switch on the transmitter units prevents clipping.

Bluetooth wireless communication
The units communicate with each other via Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy LC3plus codec up to 492 feet away. The LC3 plus Bluetooth codec ensures low power consumption and low latency while maintaining high sound quality.

Multi Interface Shoe
Use the receiver's built-in Multi Interface Shoe for cable-free connection to your compatible Sony camera. The camera body can supply power to the receiver when connected. Audio is transmitted via direct digital signal for high-quality sound without transmission deterioration.

Digital Sound Recording
Digital MEMS microphones with a high signal-to-noise ratio are integrated into each transmitter to capture clear audio with low noise. You can further eliminate distortion by using the built-in noise cut and bass cut filters. The noise cut filter uses digital signal processing to remove interference, while the bass cut filter reduces unwanted low-frequency noises such as wind, air conditioning units, and vibrations.

Battery life
