With significant improvements across the board, DJI Avata 2 continues to offer novice and experienced pilots a frictionless entry into FPV flight and immersive content creation. The compact drone is designed to fly fast at low altitudes and in tight spaces. This type of movement is further enhanced with the new addition of one-button acrobatic maneuvers. While flying, the gimbal can capture sharp 12MP photos and vibrant 4K HDR videos from normal to ultra-wide fields of view up to 155°. To do so safely, DJI has equipped the Avata 2 with a built-in propeller guard and a new binocular fisheye visual positioning system.
DJI 3 Goggles
This Fly More Combo version of the DJI Avata 2 includes the DJI Goggles 3, giving you the ability to virtually jump into the drone's cockpit for an immersive first-person experience. This experience revolves around a live video feed sent to built-in micro-OLED displays that produce a brilliant 1080p image at a smooth 100fps. Thanks to O4 video transmission technology, this feedback can be received up to 13 kilometres away. Other features include a one-touch defogging function to handle adverse weather conditions and Real View PiP, which incorporates a picture-in-picture screen to alert you to your surroundings without having to take off the headset.
DJI RC Motion 3
Included in this combo is DJI RC Motion 3, a handheld controller that works with Goggles 3 to provide an intuitive and realistic flight experience. Unlike traditional controllers, RC Motion 3 pilots the drone with simple hand and wrist movements. These gestures not only operate Avata 2, but also the menu system of Goggles 3. By overlaying an AR cursor on the menu, you can easily highlight, select, and adjust camera settings and other functions.
Professional Image
Boasting a 1/1.3" image sensor, the Avata 2 offers effective low-light performance, capturing photos up to 12 MP, and videos with up to 4K HDR resolution. Choose from three different fields of view to accommodate your specific design and riding. Professionals will enjoy 10-bit D-Log M support, which retains more highlights and detail to provide more flexibility when editing and color grading.
Stabilized Footage
Stable footage from a fast-paced FPV drone like the Avata 2 can be nearly impossible to achieve, which is why DJI incorporates RockSteady and HorizonSteady features. RockSteady is designed for pure stabilization, compensating for high speeds and wind conditions. HorizonSteady is a more specific stabilization as it locks onto the horizon during horizontal rotation up to 360°
Long-range O4 transmission
The increased stability of the DJI O4 video transmission allows you to fully immerse yourself in each flight and offers more safety. The two transmitters, four receivers and four antennas design ensure high anti-jamming capability and offer a maximum video transmission distance of up to 13km, a minimum transmission latency of 24ms, high-definition image quality at 1080p/100 fps and a maximum transmission bitrate of 60 Mb/s.
Safer flight
Upgrading from Avata's single downward sensor, the Avata 2 features binocular fisheye sensors for visual positioning down and backward. Additional safety features include a built-in propeller guard and automatic return to home features that are triggered by signal loss or low battery.
One-button stunts
Get creative with your aerial footage by using Avata 2's one-button acrobatic capabilities to perform complex stunts with ease.
- One-button turn: perform 360° front or rear turns
- One-button scrolling: perform 360° left- or right-hand scrolling
- One-button drift: Perform 180° lateral deviations past objects at high speed, then quickly move away for an interesting effect
Works with LightCut
Officially supported by DJI for use with Avata 2, the LightCut app for iOS and Android devices offers convenient one-tap visual effects without the need to download images. The AI-powered technology analyzes the flight path in the video and allows you to use the Sky VFX feature to add overlays, in-air text animations, and more. In addition, the One-Tap Edit feature uses AI recognition of the video type and theme to allow you to intelligently add sound effects, perform color restoration, and more, providing professionally enhanced final cuts for faster online sharing.
Turtle Mode
If it accidentally flips upside down, Turtle Mode can be used to automatically turn it back into the takeoff position to get it back in the air quickly.
