FUJIFILM Fujinon MKX18-55mm T2.9 for Fuji X-Mount
The Fujinon MKX18-55mm T2.9 lens in X-Mount is a lightweight cine style zoom lens for X-mount cameras with a Super 35mm size sensor. The electrical contacts inside the lens mounts allow communication with the X-series cameras. Focus, Iris and Zoom. Each ring incorporates a cine-style gear with a 0.8 MOD for interfacing with standard cine-style lens accessories. The focus ring has approximately 200° of rotation, which provides room for precise focus pulls, and the iris does not click, allowing for smooth iris pulls. The lens also incorporates a macro mode for close focus capabilities.
The lens is compatible with other Fujinon lenses such as the HK, ZK, and XK series, which allows for smooth cutting between the lenses. The 85mm front allows use with many cine-style matte boxes through the use of optional rings (rings not included). The lens weighs only 2.16 pounds, which is fairly light for a cinema zoom that maintains focus and aperture throughout the focal length range. It's designed for cameras with a Fuji X-mount, so it has a short flange focal length, but the lens allows for flange focal length adjustment so you can adjust it to the camera you're using the lens on.
Electrical contacts inside the lens mount allow communication with X-series cameras, which allows for distortion correction and color/glare shading to prevent vignetting. This communication also allows you to achieve a variety of color expressions when using film simulation modes.

200° focus barrel rotation
No shims are required to adjust the focal length of the flange as this lens has a built-in adjustment mechanism
