B+W ND 803 0.9 MASTER MRC Nano 43mm Filter
A special finely ground and polished glass is used as the basis for the new ND filter glasses. This ensures the required optical quality, which does not negatively affect even a matching high-quality lens.
With the thin-film technology developed here, not only does the pure ND filter effect come into play, but a combination of coatings optimizes the ND filter. In addition to the filter effect, the coating combination contains a multi-layer anti-reflective component with 7 layers per filter side to prevent distracting reflections. Finally, An outer layer with the usual dirt and water repellency properties is applied. This not only protects the surrounding filter, but also makes it easier to clean and maintain the filter disc. The light attenuation itself is very uniform throughout the visible range and produces image results with optimal neutral colors.
ATTENTION
Gray filters should not be used for direct visual observation of the sun (risk of blindness). They allow UV and IR radiation, which is harmful to the eyes, to pass through.

This neutral density filter is particularly interesting for video, when it is not possible to set an appropriate aperture value at high brightness or when a deliberately low depth of field is desired.
