Machined aluminum top plate
The top plate is carved from a single piece of metal, not only enhancing the look of the FUJIFILM X-E5, but also enhancing the operation of the dial. In addition, the anodised finish gives the body a refined and high-quality aesthetic.
New Film Simulation Dial
The new Film Simulation dial features a precise cut indicator window that minimizes the gap between the dial and the body, providing a precise finish. In addition, you can individually set the Film Simulation and image quality settings for the FS1-FS3 positions, allowing you to save your own FS recipes.
Mastering the details
Refinement is central to every aspect of the FUJIFILM X-E5's design. The viewfinder and dioptric adjustment control, for example, fit perfectly to the body, while the Bluetooth button on the base plate evokes the look of the rewind button of a classic film camera.

Surround View Mode
The FUJIFILM X-E5's Front Control Stick accesses the Surround View function, which displays a semi-transparent or contoured area outside the frame. This provides an OVF-like experience, allowing you to see beyond the EVF's frame to easily monitor what's about to enter the frame.
Evolved Mobility
Despite being similar in size to its predecessor, the X-E5 is the first camera in the series to feature a powerful five-axis IBIS mechanism, offering up to 7.0 stops in the centre and 6.0 stops in the periphery. This makes it an easy-to-use everyday camera that adapts perfectly to the most challenging scenarios.

- PROVIA
Based on FUJICHROME PROVIA, a reverse film designed for professional use, this film simulation mode caters to all subject types, offering neutral color reproduction.
- VELVIA
Based on FUJICHROME Velvia, an ultra-vivid reverse film designed for professionals, this Film Simulation mode delivers richer, high-contrast colors than PROVIA/STANDARD. It is a favorite of landscape photographers.
- ASTIA
Based on FUJICHROME ASTIA, a reverse film designed for fashion portraits, this mode prioritizes the smooth and faithful reproduction of skin tones while depicting vivid blue skies and greenery.
- PRO Neg. Pattern
Based on PRO160NS, a color negative film for professionals, this Film Simulation mode features smooth tonal gradation and excellent reproduction of skin tones. Ideal for portraits under carefully controlled lighting. The neutral hue lends itself well to post-processing.
- CLASSIC CHROME
Its low saturation and accentuated tonal gradation in the shadows make it the perfect choice for documentary photography with a touch of realism.
- CLASSIC Neg.
Based on SUPERIA, a color negative film loved by generations of photographers, this Film Simulation mode delivers high-contrast tonal gradation. It adds depth and definition to colors by adjusting their tones in highlights and shadows, while reducing saturation.
- NOSTALGIC Neg.
It evokes the color reproduction of iconic works of the 70s, which brought the possibilities of color expression to the world and consolidated it as art, reminiscent of the New Color movement. Unique tonal rendering softens highlights with an amber hue, preserving details in shadows, allowing for vibrant, lyrical images.

Add a personal touch to every image you create. The FUJIFILM X-E5's Film Simulation Selector offers FS1, FS2 and FS3 positions, allowing you to customize and save your own FS recipes.
Grain effect
From subtle textures to the grainy look of traditional high-ISO films, with the FUJIFILM X-E5 you can easily add natural grain to your photos. Control the intensity and size to get the right amount of texture in any image.
Colorful Chrome Effect
For highly saturated objects, the Color Chrome Effect adds depth, detail, and vibrancy at three intensities to shades of red, green, or yellow, where detail could otherwise be lost. Or use the Blue Color Chrome Effect to highlight the blue tones in an image.
Clarity
Clarity control lets you decide whether you want to recreate a scene with sharp clarity, setting edges and intensifying contrast, or with a soft feel. With 11 levels of control, it's easy to adjust to your personal taste and style.
Smooth skin effect
Ideal for portraits, this function smooths the texture of the skin for a more attractive look.
White Balance Shift
For white balance, choose Auto, Custom, Color Temperature, or a series of preset options. The white balance can be precisely adjusted in the White Balance Offset feature with red (R) and blue (B) color coordinates.
Video Functionality
The compact and lightweight body of the FUJIFILM X-E5 supports in-camera recording to an SD card at 6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit, as well as high-quality 4K/60p and 1080/240p.
